Privacy policy

DITTON Driving Chain factory respects each person`s privacy, therefore we would like to outline what kind of information the visitors leave on our website and for what reasons it is collected.

1. Privacy policy

1.1. Before starting to use this website (hereafter – the "website"), the visitor should read and agree with the privacy policy regarding processing of personal data of individuals.

1.2. When visiting the website next time, the visitor agrees with the updated version of privacy policy.

2. Collection and use of personal data

2.1. All personal data obtained is processed and stored in accordance with applicable law of the Republic of Latvia: the Personal Data Protection Law and the Advertising Law.

2.2. The website visitor leaves the following information:

2.2.1. device data: MAC or IP address, the type of browser and of the operating system;

2.2.2. access data: the Referrer URL, the date and time of website access, session duration, the terms entered in search queries, cookies that were set on visitor’s device;

2.2.3.web pages visited or files looked at: downloaded files, the date and the time of the download, amount of data transmitted, report on successful download;

2.2.4. other sensitive data as name, email, mailing and delivery address, phone number or similar, when the visitor voluntary submitted the contact form “Contact us”, or notified during phone (as well as Skype, Viber, WhatsApp or Icq) call, or send digital or written notification in order to receive support, consultation, services provided, goods offered or/and to enter into agreement or to fulfil contractual obligations.

2.3. Personal data mentioned in paragraphs 2.2.1., 2.2.2. and 2.2.3. is processed and used only in aggregated form for statistical analysis.

2.4. By providing personal data referred to paragraph 2.2.4., the visitor agrees to receive promotional materials and informational announcements about the services and goods.

2.5. Personal data obtained in accordance with paragraph 2.2.4 might be erased when the visitor revokes his permission to save the data by submitting his request to email address, and if this data is not more needed for the purpose it was obtained, or if storage of relevant information is not allowed by the legal acts due to other reasons.

3. Statistical analyses

3.1. Each access to the website or its files is protocolled with the purpose of data storage and processing in order to perform statistical analyses.

3.2. For this purpose, there is used web analytics program Google Analytics from the corporation Google Inc. (hereafter - "Google”) whose small files known as "cookies" are stored on a visitor’s access device allowing to analyse visitor activity on the website. Within the Google Analytics analysis, the cookie information along with the visitor’s MAC or IP address is processed on the Google server. By using the website, the visitor agrees with how Google collects and processes data obtained in paragraphs 2.2.1., 2.2.2. and 2.2.3. hereof and use them for purposes mentioned above.

3.3. To prevent the installation of cookies, the visitor may change the browser settings that might restrict visitor’s full access to website files.

4. Information security

4.1. Personal data is stored safe with technical and organizational precautions from any access by third parties.

4.2. The personal data stored might be shared with appropriate regulatory authorities in compliance with applicable law of the Republic of Latvia.
